The Flaming Lips are going to be releasing their 1997 album “Zaireeka”, the album was released on four CDs that were meant to be played simultaneously. The new version will be able to be played on four mobile phones to replicate the four CDs. Coyne told Spin the news about the new release and promised it would be out in the next ten days. Days ago Coyne also posted a song that may lead to a Neon Indian collaboration:
“We’re going to do two or three songs with him, and that shit should be ready to go pretty quickly. I have a couple of tunes that he’s heard, and we’ll just do that shit and fix that up and fuck around together.”
He also mentioned that he would like to work with Ariel Pink.
