Deerhunter were recently in the UK and stopped by BBC 6Music to play a session for Marc Riley’s show. In the show the band played a new song that they’ve been playing live titled ‘Helicopter’. The song begins with an almost minute long reverberating guitar until things slow down and Bradford begins singing. You can download the track below. The band also covered The Fall’s ‘Who Makes The Nazis’, which you can also download below. UPDATE: Somebody asked for the other song from the session so I added ‘Nothing Ever Happened’ below.
Deerhunter – Helicopter (Live on BBC 6Music) [Alt]
Deerhunter – Who Makes The Nazis (The Fall cover Live on BBC 6Music) [Alt]
*Deerhunter – Nothing Ever Happened (Live on BBC 6Music) [Alt]
Hey, this is great (especially The Fall cover), don’t suppose you have the rest of the session do you, would love to hear it?
