Chris Taylor Opening Terrible Records, Releasing Single

Grizzly Bear bass player and producer Chris Taylor and Ethan Silverman of Lust Boys are launching their own label named Terrible Records. The label will be releasing a series of 7″ singles and the debut EP of the Acrylics.

The first single will feature Chris Taylor’s solo project CANT on the A-side with ‘Ghosts’ and the b-side will be an unreleased Arthur Russell ‘Come To Life’. It will appear on the single courtesy of Audika Records who will release the digital version of the track on October 13. The 7″ vinyl single will be limited to 1000 copies and will available at the label’s website and select stores. More 7″ singles will be released by Taylor under his CANT name.

Acrylics debut EP will be released by the label on October 28. The five track EP is titled “All of the Fire” and was produced by Chris Taylor himself. So far the only part of the label’s website that works is the blog. Which you can read here.
