Girls just played NYC last weekend with Real Estate and are now heading to Australia at the end of the month. But, don’t worry the band will be back in March as they tour the western half of the US before culminating in their appearance at Coachella. Girls will be supported by the lo-fi psychadelia of Unknown Mortal Orchestra. You can see the tour dates below.

Annie Clark performed for the first time on the new Conan show. She performed the track ‘Cheerleader’ from her third album “Strange Mercy”. I almost flipped out when she paid homage to the 1977 SNL performance by Elvis Costello that got him banned from the show when he played ‘Radio, Radio’. You can watch the performance below.

The Horrors have recorded a cover of David Bowie’s track ‘Suffragette City’ from his 1972 album “The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars”. The track still features Faris Badwan’s guttural vocals along with a lot of distortion. You can watch the performance and download the cover below.

Unicorn Kid has remixed Pictureplane’s ‘Real is a Feeling’ from his 2011 LP “Thee Physical”. He gives it a more reminiscent sound, closer to what is heard in dance clubs than the slower, darker original. You can listen to the track below.
