Girls just played NYC last weekend with Real Estate and are now heading to Australia at the end of the month. But, don’t worry the band will be back in March as they tour the western half of the US before culminating in their appearance at Coachella. Annie Clark performed for the first time on the new Conan show. She performed the track ‘Cheerleader’ from her third album “Strange Mercy”. I almost flipped out when she paid homage to the 1977 SNL performance by Elvis Costello that got him banned from the show when he played ‘Radio, Radio’. You can watch the performance below.

The Horrors have recorded a cover of David Bowie’s track ‘Suffragette City’ from his 1972 album “The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars”.
