Okkervil River will be releasing the follow-up to their 2008 album “The Stand-Ins” later this year but first their releasing the first single off the album, ‘Mermaid’. Last year the band worked with Roky Erickson on the album “True Love Cast Out All Evil”. The new single will be released on February 8 on Jagjaguwar on 12″ with the b-side ‘Walked Out on a Line’. The new album will be released later this year.
