Sarah McLachlan’s 2010 Lilith Tour has announced the first wave of artists that will be playing at the reivial of the 90s tour. Along with the acts mentioned in the title these artist are playing the tour: Mary J. Blige, Sheryl Crow, Erykah Badu, Colbie Caillat, Ke$ha, and Miranda Lambert. Other acts that were confimed are A Fine Frenzy, Indigo Girls, Emmylou Harris, Jill Scott, Sugarland, Brandi Carlile, Sara Bareilles, Zee Avi and The Weepies. Those who were part of the tour in the 90s include Sheryl Crow, Emmylou Harris, Indigo Girls, Tegan and Sara and Erykah Badu. Co-founder Terry McBride has this to say about it:
The 2010 Lilith Tour isn’t just a celebration of women in music, but a celebration of diverse female voices across all genres. The original Lilith Fair broke down boundaries, and the new tour promises to do the same, with a mix of contemporary and classic, established and up-and-coming artists from the worlds of pop, rock, urban, country and more.
