Antony and the Johnsons will be releasing a new single from their latest album, “The Crying Light”. ‘Aeon’ will be released as a double A-side single with Antony’s studio version of a cover of Beyonce’s ‘Crazy in Love’ on August 4 via Secretly Canadian in the US and on August 3 via Rough Trade in the UK and Europe. It will be available on CD and 7″ vinyl in the US and only on 7″ internationally. If you pre-order the ‘Aeon/Crazy in Love’ single you will get a new issue of Zoetrope magazine that Antony curated. Francis Ford Coppola’s literary quarterly will also feature some artwork from Antony. The band has been playing the track live for some time, you can see them play it live below.
