Conor Oberst and the Mystic Valley Band will be releasing a new documentary titled “One of My Kind” on April 15 for free. The 60-minute documentary shows how the band came together over the last year, footage from Tepoztlán, Mexico where they recorded their debut “Conor Oberst” and their worldwide tour in 2008, and the making of Outer South in El Paso, TX. The documentary was made by the band’s guitar-tech Phil Schaffart and presented by Causecast. It will be available for streaming or HD download here. You can see the trailer for the documentary below. The band is also giving away a song from their new album “Outer South” called ‘Nikorette’, which was debuted on Conan. You can download that song below. The band has also announced more tour dates which all take place in the US. You can see the tour dates below.
