Unrealeased Beatles Tracks to be Commercially Released

A Miami indie label says they have early recordings of the Beatles before they signed to EMI. The songs were recorded at the Star Club in Hamburg, Germany. They claim that this is the first gig that they played with Ringo Starr as their drummers. The label Fuego Entertainment claims to have tracks such as covers of Hank Williams’ “Lovesick Blues” and Maurice Williams’ “Do You Believe”, “Twist and Shout,” “I Saw Her Standing There,” “Hippy Hippy Shake,” “A Taste of Honey,” “Money,” and “Ask Me Why.” There has been no release date set by the label. Jeremy Collins says that he got a hold of the tapes from a DJ he booked to play on the same night as the Beatles. He also says that the tapes have been restored so that they can be heard. The recordings should be very lo-fi if you have heard the other Star Club recodrings.
