The Horrors have recorded a cover of David Bowie’s track ‘Suffragette City’ from his 1972 album “The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars”. The track still features Faris Badwan’s guttural vocals along with a lot of distortion. You can watch the performance and download the cover below.

Unicorn Kid has remixed Pictureplane’s ‘Real is a Feeling’ from his 2011 LP “Thee Physical”. He gives it a more reminiscent sound, closer to what is heard in dance clubs than the slower, darker original. You can listen to the track below.

The Wall Street Journal reveals that Sigur Rós are going to be releasing their new album in Spring of next year. The band members all described the album: bassist Georg Hólm said it was “introverted”, while Jónsi described it as “floaty and minimal” and drummer Orri Dýrason said it was “an ambient album” with “a slow takeoff toward something”. The band recorded the album in what was once a swimming pool. For now though the band are releasing their new concert film “Inni” on November 15, you can watch the first ten minutes here. Young Dreams have released the video for their self-titled track ‘Young Dreams’. The video was directed by Kristoffer Borgli and like the title suggest features two young boys. Tennis released their debut “Cape Dory” in January and now they’ve announced they will be releasing their second album “Young and Old” on February 14. Patrick Carney of the Black Keys served as producer on the album, which was recorded in Nashville, TN. The first single will be ‘Origins’ which will be released on 7″ vinyl on December 6 on Forest Family, it will feature the ‘Deep in the Woods’ on the b-side. You can listen to ‘Origins’ below.
