Kanye West & Jay-Z May Release “Watch the Throne” on July 4

Cyhi the Prince is confirming to MTV News that the joint album between Kanye West & Jay-Z “Watch the Throne” which was supposed to be released back in March is finished and ready to go. MTV themselves speculate that the album may be released on Monday, along with Rolling Stone, The Source. AllHipHop is reporting that in order to avoid leaks the album will be released only digitally. VH1 is reporting that a source close to Jay-Z is saying that the album is not going to be released on July 4. The rappers may have moved the released of the album after releasing the disappointing single ‘H.A.M.’.

Way back in March when I started my hibernation DOM released their acoustic version of ‘Burning Bridges’ and I didn’t post it so to restart this series I’m just going to post the track. This version of ‘Burning Bridges’ was recorded during CMJ and features finger-picked guitars instead of synths and three overdriven guitars all over song. You can download the track below.

Wilco just pre-sold their new single ‘I Might’ and will officially release it on July 17, now they have announced the details for their new album titled “The Whole Love”. The album is set to be released on September 27 on their label dBpm. Björk Announces More “Biophilia” Details

Björk has announced more details for her multimedia album “Biophilia”. She has already released the first single ‘Crystlalline’. Besides the 10-songs on the album it will feature apps, custom made insturments, workshops and a documentary about the album. “Biophilia” is set to be released on September 26 on One Little Indian and Nonesuch. Beirut Announce US Tour Dates

Beirut - The Rip Tide
Beirut are back with a new album that I failed to write about titled “The Rip Tide” on August 30 via Zach Condon’s own label Pompeii Records with help from Revolver in the US. He has already released the first single ‘East Harlem’. The band has also announced their first slew of tour dates for the US as they promote the new album.
