Australian rockers Cut Copy performed the track ‘Take Me Over’ from their new album “Zonoscope” on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. I’m pretty sure that something is odd about the clip but I can’t quite put my finger on it, I can’t tell if the band members switched instruments or if that gorilla is supposed to be on stage. You can watch the performance below. Thanks to The Audio Perv.

Last week two new tracks by Panda Bear hit the internet. The first is his last single before the release of his new album “Tomboy”. It’s a really busy track and it is the single version I believe not the finished version mixed by Sonic Boom. The other track is a titled ‘The Preakness’ from the cassette with other solo songs from Animal Collective members, which features dreamy vocals and a dreamier coda. You can listen to both tracks below.

The full version of their new song has been ripped after being on the radio. The track is reminiscent of the track ‘DVNO’ from their debut which is really heavy with vocals throughout with more of a hard rock feel than disco. The duo don’t seem to have changed too much from their debut judging by this track. Hear it for yourself below.

Another track from the band’s new album “Blood Pressures” has been released. The album is set to be released next week but while you wait you can listen to ‘Pots and Pans’ below. The track’s intro can be a bit misleading since it starts with a dark acoustic guitar before finally bringing in gritty guitars towards the end. You can listen to the track below.

Smith Westerns released their second album to critical acclaim and performed a session for Rolling Stone. The band performed an acoustic version of the lead single from their second album “Dye It Blonde”, ‘Weekend’. You can watch the performance below and download the track of the performance.
