Turns out that while her new album “Wounded Rhymes” leaked Lykke Li is releasing limited edition versions of it. The limited edition’s pre-order comes with a new track titled ‘The Only’, thanks to Some Kind of Awesome via dynmk. ‘The Only’ features less tribal drums and more guitar, you can listen to the track below and pre-order the limited edition here.

Battles have been a favourite of mine since I first listened to their debut album “Mirrored” and now four years later they are releasing their second album titled “Gloss Drop”. While making the album they band lost Tyondai Braxton who quit the band to follow other pursuits and since he provided the “vocals” for the band they got some guests on the album. They feature Gary Numan, Yamantaka Eye, Blonde Redhead’s Kazu Makino, and Matias Aguayo, all the guests appear on one track each so don’t think they’ve gone over board including vocals on all tracks. The album will be released on June 7 on Warp. You can see the tracklisting below.

Fat Possum seems to want to be signing everybody and their mother, Sonny and the Sunsets have announced that they will be releasing their second album “Hit After Hit” on April 12 on Fat Possum. Last time we heard from PS I Love You the band released a track with Diamond Rings titled ‘Leftovers’. Diamond Rings had previously announced that he would be touring with the band across North America but now the band have announced their entire SXSW schedule and their upcoming European tour dates. The ‘Leftovers’ single will be released on March 29 with two new b-sides ‘A-D’ and ‘Mystery Shirt’. You can see the tour dates below.

A new fan clip featuring the Muppets was directed and produced by Javier Douglas. This isn’t the first time that Muppets appear in a clip for a LCD Soundsystem, if you last remember the clip for ‘New York, I Love But You’re Bringing Me Down’ featured Kermit singing the lyrics all throughout only to reveal it was James Murphy controlling him all along.
