DOM are re-releasing their debut EP “Sun Bronzed Greek Gods” on Astralwerks and have now recorded a Daytrotter. The band performed three songs from the EP and one unreleased track titled ‘Beth’. Breakout acts Smith Westerns and Yuck have announced that they will be touring across the South and parts of California together. Smith Westerns will spend the rest of the time touring the rest of North America. Yuck recently managed make their US debut despite the raging snowstorm that once again covered New York City in snow. Omar Rodriguez Lopez, guitarist, producer and over all mastermind behind Mars Volta and his solo projects has announced that he will be releasing a 37 track (38 on vinyl) collection of his best songs titled “Telesterion”. The collection will be released on April 16. and it will collect tracks from his 25 albums, the collection will also contain a 20-page booklet explaining the scope of his work. Real Estate have decided to share a new demo titled ‘Blue Lebaron’ on their blog. The track is entirely instrumental and is probably being developed for what is going to be the band’s upcoming second album. Their self-titled debut album was released in late 2009 and they released a new single ‘Out of Tune’, last year. You can get the demo below.

Bright Eyes are releasing their new first new album since 2007′s “Cassadaga” titled “The People’s Key”.
