Born Ruffians recently stopped by Daytrotter. The band performed four songs from their second album “Say It”, which seems to get better with every listen. Finally it made its way online after being premiered last night on Xfm. The xx’s Jamie Smith and Romy Madley Croft were guests on Xfm last night and the band premired the new song. It is still unknown what Jamie is going to call the new project but I’m tagging him as Jamie xx, like he does on his remixes. The song is mostly instrumental and features plenty of steel pan thoughout. You can download the song below.

Gang of Four have shared another track from their upcoming new album “Content”. This time band shares the track ‘Never Pay For The Farm’. Like they were in 1978 the band continues with their post-punk sound that has made them influental to the sound of many of the bands in the current scene. You can get the track below for an e-mail. The new album “Content” will be relesaed on January 25 in the US, October 4 in the UK.

A new Kanye West song has leaked, We All Want Someone managed to find it from Your Audio Fix who find it necessary to put their name all over the track. The song is titled ‘Lost in the World’ and it features Bon Iver’s track ‘Woods’, which is where that auto-tuning comes from not Kanye, its almost six minutes long like all of his recent material. It is being reported that the album is due out on November 22, that he might be working with Flying Lotus and he has signed Mos Def to G.O.O.D. Music. You can download it below.

Theophilus London has decided to rap over the xx’s remix/cover hybrid of Florence + the Machine’s ‘You’ve Got the Love’. The video for the song features footage of the 1996 Olympics’ Opening ceremony which features the flame being lit. You can watch the video below and get the mix.
