Chaz Bundick’s project Toro y Moi is going to be playing a show in the city this week at the Whitney Museum. The show will be opened by High Places. He has a new single that is going to be released on July 20 featuring two songs from 2006 that sound less chillwave and more rock n’ roll. The day before his appearance at the Whitney he will be playing at Brooklyn’s Glasslands Gallery and then they will be touring with Phoenix. You can see the tour dates below and

Interpol Announce New Album Tracklisting

Interpol have already announced that they will be releasing their self-titled third album on September 7 via their new-old label Matador. The tracklisting includes ten songs and it is already available to be pre-ordered. If you pre-order the new album will come with a poster and an interpol 45 adapter. They will also be giving away signed silkscreen prints of the band done by Shepard Fairey. You can pre-order the album here. The tracklisting for the new album is below.

As you’ve probably heard before Rostam Batmanglij, Best Coast and Kid Cudi have collaborated on a new track for Converse. The three of them are going to have the collaboration showcased by the website and it will be released on July 7 for a limited time. Arcade Fire Releasing Eight Different Covers For New Album

Arcade Fire are going to be releasing their third album this year and we have already heard four new songs from it. They have titled the album “The Suburbs” and it will be released on August 3 in the US. Details have emerged from the LP, that it will feature 8 different covers, Ryan Catbird on MBV found it on the album’s one-sheet. Which will be great but wouldn’t we rather have 8 different versions of the album?

The duo are clearly channeling a difrerent time, and by that I mean they are going directly by an 80s influence. The bassline is funky and synth lines coming in strong on the song. Panda Bear Announces New Album Song Titles

The anticipation for this new album is building heavily and now even more so now that he is going to be releasing a new 7″ single on July 13 from the title track of the album named “Tomboy”.
