This afternoon in the US and night in the UK Zane Lowe premiered a new song by Gorillaz titled ‘Superfast Jellyfish’. The song comes from their new upcoming third album “Plastic Beach”. Moments after the song was played on BBC Radio 1 Gorillaz put the song up on their Youtube page. The song features verses from De La Soul and alot of samples. Brooklyn’s We Are Scientists are going to be releasing their new album “Barbara” this year and they have now released the first single from that album. It is titled ‘Rules Don’t Stop’. They have put it up on their on their myspace and their facebook. Luckily they have also began streaming it on Soundcloud. The band’s named first appeared on the Coachella line-up poster as ???? and everyone wondered what that meant. Now he has announced that the band will have a name. Brooklyn’s MIles Benjamin Anthony Robinson has announced that he will be touring this year. He released his latest album last year titled “Summer of Fear” on Saddle Creek. Reclusive Swedish band jj have released a video for a song off of their new album titled “jj n° 3″. The video is for the song ‘Let Go’. The video is in black and white and the band goes for a very stern tone but it makes me laugh a little. The blood, the smoking and the dog just add a more serious tone to the light song.
