Calvin Harris has remixed Passion Pit’s new track ‘The Reeling‘, the remix features adds more funk to the original bass line and its more dancefloor ready than the original. You can download the song below. Passion Pit also revealed another new track ‘Moth’s Wings’.
Since Vampire Weekend’s Rostam Batmanglij and Ra Ra Riot’s Wes Miles’ side-project Discovery has been hyped all over the blogosphere I didn’t want to post the tracks that everybody has posted so i dug up this remix of Ra Ra Riot’s ‘Can You Tell?’ track that became Ra Ra Riot’s ‘Can You Tell?’. It was recorded by Wes Miles and Rostam Batmanglij in 2005 and it was then used by Ra Ra Riot. The track has been auto-tuned and may remind some of “808s and Heartbreak”. You can download the track below. UPDATE: I received an e-mail from the band and it turns out the track is the original version of what is now the Ra Ra Riot track ‘Can You Tell?’ and it is titled ‘Can You Discover?’
Wilco’s new album will be titled “Wilco (The Album)”, the album is set to be released in June by their label Nonesuch. The album will feature vocals from Feist on the track ‘You and I’. The opener for the new album will also feature the track ‘Wilco (the Song)’, which they premiered live on the Colbert Report, as the opener for the new album. You can see the tracklisting below.

The Village Voice has announced the line-up to the 9th Annual Village Voice Siren Music Festival. It will take place on Saturday July 18 at Brooklyn’s Coney Island from 12:00 to 9:00 p.m. Bands that are already announced playing the festival include Built To Spill, The Raveonettes, Frightened Rabbit, Grand Duchy, Monotix, Micachu & the Shapes with more to be announced. As always the festival is free and will feature two outdoor stages. For more information you can go here.
