Swedish singer-songwriter Jens Lekman has announced some tour dates in the West coast of the United States. Jens Lekman last toured Asia in November of 2008 and performed his track ‘Black Cab’ for the Black Cab Sessions. He spent some timein Australia and I guess that now he is back. You can see the tour dates below. Some more dates will be announced in Vancouver and Alaska.

Brooklyn pop duo Matt & Kim have been forced to cancel the remaining tour dates on their US tour. Matt Johnson hurt his back during the weekend and is currently receiving treatment. This forced the band to cancel their last four tour dates in the US tour; so if you planned to see them in Gainesville, Athens, Asheville, Richmond, and Philadelphia this is very unfortunate. The band will be be making their way to their tour dates in Australia and New Zealand. Hope you get well now Matt. Wilco will be releasing a new album this June, it will be a follow-up to their 2007 album “Sky BLue Sky”. Feist will be alending vocals to the song ‘You and I, Rolling Stone reports: “Feist and the dudes in Wilco met at the Grammys last year, and she hit it off with everyone,” Smoking Section says. “She’s a Wilco fan, and the guys love her music, so they’ve kept in touch over the past year. Mr. Tweedy is a huge fan of duets, and wanted to work a duet into the new album. Feist was their first call. Everyone who’s heard the song has been ‘blown away.’” The band also confirmed the report by writing on their site: “Rumors and blogs regarding a guest appearance on that last track are, amazingly, quite true. Feist does indeed lend a great vocal to You and I. Other details will emerge in the coming weeks. The release is currently scheduled for late June on Nonesuch.” They even posted a list of some of the songs that they are currently mixing the album in Jim Scott’s studio in Valencia, California. The track ‘Wilco the Song’ that was played on the Colbert Report back in November last year. The band will be releasing a new DVD called “Ashes of American Flags” on April 18 which is Record Store Day, they will also be starting a world tour. Stephen Malkmus & the Jicks recorded a Daytrotter session. The band recorded three tracks including a cover of James Gang’s ‘Funk #49′, which the band had previously covered with Blitzen Trapper. They also played ‘Vanessa from Queens’ from “Pig Lib” and ‘Elmo Delmo’ from last year’s “Real Emotional Trash”. You can download the songs here for free.

Coldplay, Tool and the Beastie Boys will be headlining the second edition of the All Points West Music & Arts Festival. The festival will once again take place at Liberty State Park in New Jersey on July 31 to August 2. Others acts that have been announced playing at the festival include Echo & The Bunnymen, My Bloody Valentine, Vampire Weekend, MGMT, MSTRKRFT, Gogol Bordello, The Black Keys, Fleet Foxes, Neko Case, Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Arctic Monkeys. Tickets for the festival will go on sale on April 3, one day passes will be $89 and three day passes will be $199, there will be layaway options available. Gnarls Barkley performed an acoustic version of their 2006 track ‘Transformer’ on Live on Abbey Road. Cee-lo and Danger Mouse slow the pace of the track, the original is a fast paced and features different samples, this version just has a guitar, drums, organ, vocals and the back-up vocalists.
