I’m really late with this but I wanted to post it anyway. Grizzly Bear played their new song ‘Two Weeks’ on Letterman on Wednesday night. The new song has a more pop-oriented sound that their usual tracks. You can watch a video of the performance below.
This is an acoustic track from Franz Ferdinand. It is off their first album. The track is take from some radio session, I’m going to assume Zane Lowe since a lyric was changed to include his name and the banter at the end of the song. It is ‘The Dark of the Matinée’ acoustic. TV on the Radio have announced the title for their new album, it will be “Dear Science,”. The comma is a part of the name not a typo. The release for the follow-up to “Return to Cookie Mountain” will be September 23. The tour dates for the album are below.

Devendra Banhart has released the first video for ‘Carmensita’ from his 2007 release “Smokey Rolls Down Thunder Canyon”. The video features Natalie Portman and Devendra Banhart in some sort of crazy Indian-mythology world. Watch the video below.
Damon Albarn’s album “Journey to the West” will be released this fall on XL Recordings. It is a joint collaboration with Jamie Hewlett who will provide visuals for the album. They will be releasing the album under the project’s name Monkey. It was performed by an assortment of European and Chinese musicians and singers and was produced by Albarn. The album is made up of 22 vocal and instrumental tracks. The album will be released in the usual formats and in a special box-set vinyl and artwork has been created by Vinyl Factory Ltd.
