The Reading & Leeds Festivals ate going to take place on August 22 through the 24. The headliners have been annouced. They are going to be the Killers, Metallica, and Rage Against the Machine. Rage Against The Machine will headline at Reading on the Friday (8/22) and then play at Leeds on Saturday (8/23). The Killers will be at Reading on the Saturday, and then play Leeds on the Sunday. Metallica will headline Reading on the Sunday and Leeds on the Friday. The following acts have bee confirmed so far to play at the festivals:

Last year Stereogum released a trbiute album for “OK Computer’s” 10 year anniversary. This year they have released a free Björk tribute album entitled “Enjoyed: A Tribute to Björk’s Post”. It features artists like Dirty Projectors, Xiu Xiu, Owen Pallett, El Guincho ad more covering songs by Björk. You can download the album here and the liner notes here. The original movie soundtrack was so succesfull hitting number one in the Billboard Charts, that they decided to do an outtake album, “Juno B-Sides: Almost Adopted”. Director Jason Reitman says: “None of these songs made the movie, but they are all essential members of the Junoverse”. The album still features a pair of songs by Kimya Dawson, Belle & Sebastian, and Buddy Holly, it also features artists not on the first like Yo La Tengo, Jr. James and Bristols. It also features a couple of songs sung by Ellen Page and one written by Diablo Cody called ‘Zub Zub’. The new album will be out on digital-format only on May 13 and on April 8 on iTunes. Death Cab has announced some tour dates in support of their upcoming album, “Narrow Stairs”. The picture is of their new album. The first single ‘I Will Possess Your Heart’. It has over a four minute intro before you hear Ben Gibbard’s vocals. It was released on March 18. The tour dates are below and an old Death Cab track.

Beginning at the end of September Foals will start a giant tour of the UK. It will begin on September 27 in Aylesbury Civic Centre and end The Brixton Academy at Ocotber 16. They have put up a couple of live tracks up for download at their website, you can get them here.
