Ben Gibbard tells Spinner that there may not be a second LP by the Postal Service. He told Spinner: ‘It’s just not a priority for either of us, So the next Postal Service record may or may never happen. Jimmy and I are still throwing ideas back and forth, but as time goes on, we find ourselves busy with our own music, We have some stuff, but it’s been difficult to find the time and the drive to do the record. I’d love to finish it at some point and maybe even do some performances. If it’s meant to be, it’s meant to be.” Some of their recent work has included a cover of John Lennon’s ‘Grow Old With Me’ for a compilation to save Darfur and a remix of the Cribs song ‘I’m A Realist’. It’ would be a shame if they somehow don’t come up with a new album, their previous work is fantastic.

Here are the winner of this year’s awards.
This is an acoustic cover of Justice’s ‘D.A.N.C.E.’ done by Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly. I found on the NME Awards 2008 CD that was given away with an issue of NME. It features a lot of great covers but this one stands out the most. Enjoy the track.
